Deoriatal Chandrashila would be one of the best trek on our list for any beginners. With minimum efforts you get one of the best views. If you are just stepping into the trekking world the Deoriatal Chandrashila would be the best option to start with.
Drive: 8-10hrs Drive
Sari is 8-10hrs drive from Dehradun. We will arrgane transport to Sari from Dehradun. The vehicles leave at 6.00 am from Dehradun Railway Station.The cost is shared among the trekkers.
We will come across many confluences of rivers and spectacular landscapes all along the drive.
Once we reach Sari,we will take a rest and stay overnight in guest house. Dinner will be served at night and in order to have an ample amount of rest, we will suggest you sleep early.
Trek Duration: 2 hrs
Today is short day. The trail is considered to be easy with a combination of ascent and descent. After breaskfast we will start the trek. The trail is well-defined all the way to Deoriatal.
At the end of the trek, your surroundings open up to a grand view of Deoriatal, with Mt. Chaukhambha in the background.
Trek Duration: 6-7hrs
Today is a bit long day. You will walk through beautiful forest. After 4-5hrs of trek you reach Rohini bugyal, the beautiful meadows. In the month of March and April, the trail is blazing with red and pink flowers of rhododendron. Today is the day to watch out for birds on trail. The Syalmi campsite is just another 1hr from the rohini bughyal.
Trek Duration: 4-5hrs
After a long day 3 trek, we will be have a short day today. The trail descends all the way to Akash Kamini, a rivulet coming from Chandrashila. After crossing it trail gradually ascends. You will see shepherd huts made out of stones
Trek Duration: 6-8hrs
Today will a long day from gradual to steep ascents.We will start the trek before sunrise. The trek from Chopta to Tungnath is accessible via a cemented pilgrim trail. The trek up to Tungnath temple is approximately 3 km. From Tungnath the steep ascent starts till the Chandrashila peak.
Once at the top of the peak, you get a 360-degree view of the mountains of Garhwal and Kumaon. Walk past a temple and see some great mountains of Uttarakhand, like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti, Kamet, Dunagiri, Chaukhamba, Kedar dome, Thalaysagar, Gangotri ranges, Jahanukut and more.

Drive back to Dehradun. We will arrange transport from Sari to Dehradun. The vehicles leave at 6.00 am from Sari.The cost is shared among the trekkers.
